Project 01 | Space-Shaped
Fall Quarter | Sep '20 | JoAnn Moore Studio
"Space-Shaped" serves as an introduction to understanding how people fill and use a space. While learning these concepts- plans, sections, elevations, and isometric drawings were brought forward.
Project 02 | Astronomical Object
Fall Quarter '20 | JoAnn Moore Studio
"Astronomical Object" takes introductory concepts learned thus far to create a space that also relates to the environment around it: making the structure in relation to the night sky above it. This project emphasizes on elevations, intro to model making, axonometric views, and 3D rendering in Rhino.

Project 03 | Home
Winter Quarter '21 | Angela Bracco Studio
"Home" project used the COVID-19 pandemic as an inspirational tool, in this case to create digital diagrams of the objects people are surrounded with at a given time. This project is an introduction to object diagrams and creating plans within a grid layout. Main concepts taught in the duration of this project include object dimensions, and the difference between drafting floorplans that emphasize connectivity, privacy, or a hybrid of the two.
Project 04 | Double Occupancy
Winter Quarter '21 | Angela Bracco Studio
"Double Occupancy" allows both the real and ideological world of the imagination to be merged as one. In this project, an existing structure is examined The Villa in the Forest and added onto. A deep understanding of complex diagramming is created through the duration of this project.

Project 05 | Full House - Townhome
Winter Quarter '21 | Angela Bracco Studio
"Full House" is the first full residential design created in design studio. This site consists of 6 townhomes that form a long strip containing a park in the back, and in the front a main road. These homes are designed to accommodate 3-4 people each consisting of 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. This project emphasizes pulling inspiration for structure shape and following constraints needed by the client. In this case, the original shape being derived from the letter E.
Project 06 | Found Objects
Spring Quarter '21 | Emily White Studio
"Found Objects" emphasizes the development of sections as well as pulling abstraction from a real object. In this case, scissors are carefully observed and cut into Additionally, the same scissors are used to make a collage through a range of photos with differences in lighting and angles. Pictured, scissors become flower.

Project 07 | Projector
Spring Quarter '21 | Emily White Studio
"Projector" essentially takes all concepts learned in first year studio to combine them in one large project. An existing parking structure is divided and observed from another purpose to serve as a movie archive and viewing area out of its existing spaces. Galleries, archives, and amphitheaters are to fill the new area. Found objects in the environment are used as inspiration, and displayed through the usage of plans, collage, and model making.
